Kangaroo Zoo

My parents took all the grandkids (and there parents) to Kangaroo Zoo in Pleasant Grove. We all had lots of fun bouncing, climbing and sliding. I don't get Elizabeth but that kid would scream in our back yard for me to come (out of the house) and hold her hand to go down the slide on the playset and yet, she would climb up a slide three times as high and long and cruise down with no problem here! It was super hard to get a good shot as the kids were constantly in motion like molecules in an atom -- but here are few!!!

So you have to hand it to Lehi City...

So you have to hand it to Lehi City...they plowed all the snow from the street right along the edge of the sidewalk curb so all the snow landed up on top of our sidewalk. Here you can see part of my efforts to clear the snow and let me tell you it was hard packed snow - not the light and fluffy stuff you generally shovel off. (This picture really doesn't do it justice.) It was a good workout though. Maybe I worked off the large mug of hot chocolate my kids forced me to drink when we got in!!!

Discovery Gateway

Erik's Dad and Sabine were here from Germany over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had lots of fun with them and we were super sad when they had to return. Here's some photo's from a day we spent at the Gateway.

Reflections Contest

So McCall loves to create, and she took an amazing photo and created a beautiful picture for the 2007-2008 Reflections contest. The theme was I can Make a Difference by...

She did well and got two trophies for her artwork and a metal for her photography. We just hope she doesn't set her expectations too high for future years as she's recieved awards for everything she has done so far. Maybe we should take a year off!

Christmas Dance Recital

The Christmas Dance Recital was fun, fun, fun. We sure enjoy watching McCall and Lizzie is very excited to be able to go dance too. She's on tip toes most the day and twirling constantly - much to the anxiety of her mother "CAREFUL, CAREFUL!!!".
