All Smiles

Claire is 3 months old now and all smiles! Unfortunately, I'm not keeping up on taking photo's like I should but I've set a goal to do better!

Claire's Day of Blessing

It was special to have Erik give Claire her Name and Blessing in church. It is always great when family can be together for these special events in our lives -- we missed the rest of you and wished we could have been complete! Claire was perfect, Elizabeth all smiles and McCall as beautiful as ever. The only problem was I had made a commitment to speak to the youth in our church that evening, so I had to run off on everyone who stopped by after the blessing. I feel like I missed out on seeing everyone.

You can see Claire wasn't too happy by the time we got to the individual pictures with Elizabeth and McCall -- but they are treasures all the same.

Utah County Fair

One afternoon I headed out with the girls to the County Fair. They went on rides and had fun but it was sure hot. Luckily Claire slept in the stroller so they were able to do everything they wanted. I am so glad McCall and Elizabeth have fun together. McCall is such a good big sister and Elizabeth is happy doing whatever McCall does.

County Fair and Cotton Candy

It's just not the Fair if you don't finish off with sticky hands and faces from Cotton Candy. They sure made it look good!

Day by Day

At times I feel so overwhelmed -- I'm having to let go of the spotless house and hope that surface clean will suffice. I think our checking account hasn't been balanced for a month. I can't remember the names of my girls...and my list of things to get to keeps getting longer. But I did find time to read my book for this month's book club -- so life isn't all bad!!! I just take it day by day.
*The bows on the girls head were made by them using their napkins from lunch and clippies!

Could Time Stand Still?

It get's crazy sometimes but we wouldn't change a thing. We are so tickled with Claire... and the older girls continue to amaze us with there unique talents and personalities. We look at how much Elizabeth and McCall have grown and we wish we could slow down time -- it just seems like yesterday they were little babies like Claire.

Claire in her Blessing Dress

She is such a sweet baby and while she could start sleeping through the night, I can't complain too much! Isn't she so cute!

AT Home with 3 Little Girls

Adjusting was easy with Erik home. He took over all care of the two older girls while allowing me to recover and spend all my attention on little Claire. It was great but life got busy when he went back to work!

I keep having this overwhelming feeling of responsibility. Three girls to raise and give love too -- I hope we can give them all they need to grow up in to women of worth and integrity.

Claire looks a lot like McCall...I think they could be twins!

What matters most...

So I have the most amazing family. They are one of my greatest blessings. This is the last group photo we have together -- we really need to update because I had just had Elizabeth two weeks prior in this photo. We have three additons (Ayden, Claire and Mary). I just love my family and we all have a great time together and get allong so well. I wish we were all lived closer to one another but it sure makes times when we are together so great!

GRANDMA - MAURINE EYRING BOYD

We knew it was coming as her health continued to go down hill but it was so hard to say goodbye to Grandma, but we are grateful that she and Grandpa are together now. Grandma was so special and wanted the best to come out of everyone. She was so kind and she endured all of life's trials with great faith and optimism. She will be an example we will never forget.

Her funeral was amazing and it was so great to have her nephew...Elder Henry B. Eyring speak. It was a powerful testimony and confirmed our knowledge in the fact that we truly have living prophets today!

I miss the way she made me (and each person) feel like we were so important to her. She was concerned about everything and was so thoughtful of the challenges of young families. I miss the gatherings at her home and the Spirit which presided there. I will always think of her in a pink - pink everything. We miss you Grandma (& Grandpa) and will always remember your legacy.

Elizabeth's Birthday Party

We celebrated Elizabeth's 2nd birthday. What a doll she is. Everyone that meets her is just overpowered by her darling personality. She has spunk and is so lively and so excited about life it's just wonderful. She looks a lot like her Mom's baby pictures -- with her fair hair and round face! She is a lot of work but such a joy. We have so much fun with her.

Claire's Birth

Other than the fact that McCall had Pink Eye and Elizabeth had a Black Eye ... it was a wonderful time for us to add a sweet little girl to our growing family. Mom had a good recovery and was up and out of bed a few hours after the c-section. Claire already has a special place in our hearts. She is so beautiful and sweet.

Less Grass = Less Mowing

So we tore out the grass under the playset (and updated the playset with a newer bigger one). We put in wood play chips and did cement edging around it. Possibly it was just an excuse for Erik to get in a machine and play! Who knows - but he did an awsome job, it really looks great.
